Health System, Chain Ready Joint Venture

Beaumont Health System in Michigan is forming a joint venture with Kettering, Ohio-based Alternate Solutions Health Network. The venture involves Beaumont selling the majority of its seven-county home health and hospice business, which would continue operation under the Beaumont Home Health name, reports °ä°ù²¹¾±²Ô’s Detroit newspaper. Officials from Beaumont and Alternate, which specializes in health system joint ventures, didn’t confirm the deal to °ä°ù²¹¾±²Ô’s, but multiple sources relayed the negotiations underway between Alternate management and Beaumont staff. The negotiations involved cutting salaries and benefits.
